Check-in/Check-out Policies
This property has the following check-in and check-out times and policies:
Check In is 3:00 PM. Early check-in may be available; a fee may apply.
Check Out is 11:00 AM. Late check-out may be available; a fee may apply.
Deposit: A deposit of 25% of the total rate for bookings is required to confirm a reservation. No reservation is confirmed until proper payment is received.
Balance: Final balance is due 30 days prior to arrival date. Balance due will be charged to the card on file unless otherwise requested.
Late Bookings: Bookings made within 45 days prior to arrival are payable at the time of booking.
Cancellations and Refunds: All cancellations are to be in writing and must be acknowledged by Ceiba Beach Resort as having been received in order to be accepted as a valid cancellation.
90 or more days prior to date of arrival – full refund minus a $100.00 cancellation fee.
60 to 90 days prior to date of arrival – forfeit 25% of deposit/payment plus a $100.00 cancellation fee.
30 to 60 days prior to date of arrival – forfeit 50% of deposit/payment plus a $100.00 cancellation fee.
Less than 30 days prior to date of arrival – no refund of deposit or payment.
**Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds within the cancellation periods as a result of airline delays, strikes, political unrest, weather conditions, travel advisories or acts of God including hurricanes or personal emergencies. We strongly recommend travel insurance in order to safeguard against such potential circumstances.
Terms and Conditions
Rates are in US dollars
Rates per night plus 9% Belize hotel tax and 10% Service Fee. (Hotel tax is subject to regulatory rate change.)
Daily housekeeping is provided with your stay. We replace linens and towels mid-stay unless otherwise requested. If your stay is less than three nights, we will only replace linens and towels upon request.
No Smoking: Ceiba is a non-smoking property. Smoking is not permitted inside or around the cabana (including porches and balconies), around the pool, in Mickey’s Restaurant & Bar, or any other common areas. Smoking areas are along the first 10 feet of beach coming out of the water. Butts must be disposed of properly. Violation of this policy will result in an additional cleaning fee of up to $250 USD.
No Pets: Ceiba is a pet-free property. While you may see pets along the beach, they are not allowed on our property including in any accommodations, around the pool or in the restaurant. Violation of this policy will result in an additional cleaning fee of up to $250 USD.
Lost Keys: Lost keys are subject to a $25 USD replacement fee, per key. Failure to return your key will also result in a $25 USD replacement fee, per key.
Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM daily. Please be respectful of other guests and the surrounding community. Exceptions may apply to special events.
Payment Policy – A 25% deposit is required upon booking to guarantee reservation and the balance is due 30 days prior to arrival. Payments can be made by Cash*, Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover. Balance due will be charged to the card on file at 30 days prior to arrival, unless otherwise instructed.
Please note: We cannot accept Discover Cards In Belize. *Cash payments still require a credit card to be held on file in the event of damages caused to the rental accommodations or extra cleaning measures are required as noted in Terms & Conditions.
Damage Deposit Policy Ceiba Beach Resort does not process a damage deposit at time of reservation or check-in. However, we do require credit card information be provided at time of reservation, even if paying in Cash, so that if damages are incurred the credit card will be charged for cost of damages, repairs, extraneous cleaning, etc.
We want you to have a great time when you are here. But if things get too crazy, we go by the old-school rule of ‘you break it, you buy it’ and property damages or missing items will be charged to your credit card at market value.
Pre-existing damages or room issues must be reported to the front desk immediately after registration to avoid responsibility and potential charges. The hotel allows guests, with permission, to receive occasional packages and special deliveries at the property. We are not responsible for the packages or their contents or the storage of them.
Credit Card on File: By booking a stay with Ceiba Beach Resort, you agree that you must provide a valid credit card at check in. This card will be charged for any incidentals and/or damage incurred during your stay.
Parking Vacations should be stress-free and for that reason, you get to park right in front of your room (or super close). By parking a vehicle at our facility, you (and your guests) are doing so on your own accord. The hotel does not take responsibility or accept liability for damage, accident or loss to your vehicle or personal property.
Privacy As part of our commitment to guest safety, employees will not disclose the identity, room number or presence of a guest to anyone other than appropriate law enforcement. This includes the taking of or delivery of messages or indirect forwarding of phone calls. It is the responsibility of guests to communicate their presence and room number to any person they wish to receive calls or visits from. Safety cameras are used throughout the premises, and anyone on our property may be recorded. The hotel assumes no responsibility for any personal bodily injury incurred while on property.
